Superb Chromian Vesuvianite – the rarest color from Jeffrey mine. The crystals have dark emerald-green color due to Chromium. The color is the intense green with gem crystals to 11mm. Some transparent Diopside blades are present too. The white base gives strong contrast. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some contacts near the outside edges. On acrylic base.
