Marvelous honey-orange colored gem Grossular Garnet crystals up to 12mm on a matrix from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They are transparent, gem quality with superb luster and rich color. The Grossular has rhombic dodecahedral habit with sharp crystallization. The crystals are perfect and are very well isolated. The main crystal at the top gives superb focal point. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some minor nicks and small outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
