Fine quality specimen of Garnet var. Andradite on Hedenbergite from Serifos Island, Greece. It displays perfect rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 12mm, nested on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasing red-brown color, very well crystallized, razor sharp and waxy lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, grown in a cluster. In superb condition.
