A fascinating jewel of rare colorless garnet var. grossular crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The colorless garnets are among the rarest in the world. The grossular crystals to 4mm are super gem, completely transparent and clear like water. They have a rhombic dodecahedral sharp crystallization and a glassy luster. Small diopside needle inclusions are seen too. It is fluorescent in a bright pink. It displays all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
