An overwhelming cluster of dioptase crystals from the famous Milpillas Mine, Sonora, Mexico. Dioptase is rare at the mine. The crystals are elongated, gemmy and lustrous. They have gorgeous and rich sea-blue-green color. The quality is superb. The base is covered with light blue chrysocolla. For references see the 2021 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 52, # 5.
