Superb specimen of skeletal Galena, Chalcopyrite, Pyrite, and Quartz from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. It displays very neat and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena crystals overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop another forming amazing terraced structure. The faces are matt lustrous. Yellow Chalcopyrite crystals form the core. They are well shaped. Brassy Pyrite cubes with a strong luster and nice striations are seen too. Black Sphalerite and Quartz crystals grow on the back side. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
