Outstanding specimen of rare pink colored Grossular Garnet crystals up to 3.5mm beautifully growing with small white Diopside needles from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Garnet crystals are very glassy, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing pink color. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The color is very tender and combined with the excellent gemminess make it a remarkable specimen from this closed mine. It displays on both sides. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some small contacts.

Exceptional pink beauty!
