Outstanding specimen of impressive Spinel Law twin Galena decorated by Pyrite on a spiky Quartz base from Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest Galena in the world and this is a beautiful piece. It displays sharp, well formed Galena twins with matt luster, good brilliance and light reflection. They are terraced and stepped forming  one superb plate giving very 3 dimensional display to the specimen. Chunky yellow Pyrite crystals grow above. They are well isolated and enrich the display. Attractive Quartz crystals form the base and add nice contrast. In superb condition – some minor nicks and negligible Quartz damages.
