Wonderful combo specimen of gem Garnet var. Spessartine crystals nestled attractively on black Tourmaline var. Schorl. The Spessartines have perfect trapezohedral shape up to 12mm big. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with a tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. The Schorl is well crystallized in elongated crystals, with strong luster and nice striations. Complete on 360 degree. In very good condition – some micro nicks and contacts towards the base. On acrylic base.
