Knappenwand is a world famous mineral locality for fine Epidote-Byssolite and this is a beautiful specimen. Dense cluster of fibrous hair like Byssolite needles intergrow with vertical Epidote crystals. Byssolite has green color and it is very sparkling. Epidotes have very dark olive-green color.
