Nice cluster of Vesuvianite with two colors and one dominant central crystal. Vesuvianites are gemmy and have pleasing raspberry to apple-green color. With very fresh appearance, exemplary lustrous and sparkling. Displays beautifully from all sides. Overall, the finest Vesuvianite in the world came from this great, now - inactive mine. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some small contacts and nicks. On acrylic base.
