Splendid combo of Vesuvianite and Diopside. Vesuvianites have varying color from intense purple to pleasing apple yellow-green. With good luster - sparking and shiny. Diopsides are transparent and gemmy with pleasant honey color grown at the top and giving excellent finish to the specimen. For references see the last issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
