A gorgeous jewel of gem grossular garnet crystal from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The grossular is extremely transparent, gem quality with a superb luster and rich orange color. It is 8mm big with a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. It displays beautifully all over - a complete floater. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition - some minor nicks. With acrylic base – not glued.
