A marvelous thumbnail vesuvianite crystal with raspberry caps from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly terminated crystal is gem. It has a color variation from apple-green to very saturated and rich raspberry-fuchsia caps. The color intensity varies depending the observation angle.  The luster is very strong and the crystal is transparent and glassy. It is doubly terminated.
