A highly aesthetic specimen of epidote and axinite-Fe from Sayan, Huaura province, Peru. The epidote grows in a beautiful fan shaped spray of needle crystals. It has an olive-green color and pearly luster. Axinite-Fe crystals form the base. They are sharp, slightly gemmy with a brown color and good luster. Some quartz crystals are seen too. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts.
