A superb specimen of rhodochrosite from this famous locality - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays sharp rhombohedral crystals with a rich red-brown color. They have a good luster. One black aegirine crystal are seen too. It shows aesthetically all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4.
