A superb quality, slightly gemmy lazulite crystals from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring to 10mm. They have gemmy areas with marvelous blue-green color variations. Brown siderite crystals are seen too. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4. In very good condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.

Fine lazulite crystals!
