Marvelous specimen of garnet var. grossular var. chromian with black chromite inclusions from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The grossular crystals are gem, up to 3mm big. They have deep and saturated grass-green color due to chromium. The garnets are with sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. Some minor inclusions of black chromite are seen too. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
