Unique specimen of very rare combination of two color gem Garnet var. Grossular from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. It displays gem Garnet var. Grossular with grass green phantoms on one side and pink colored crystals on the other. The green crystals are clear up to 1,5mm. They have very deep and saturated green cores due to Chromium, surrounded by transparent colorless areas. The crystals are sharp rhombic dodecahedrons, glassy and they have irresistible color. Sparkling small Garnets with light pink color are seen on the back. Fine specimen from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
