Absolutely gorgeous gem Rhodochrosite crystals from the famous NChwaning I Mine, Kalahari manganese fields, South Africa. It displays completely transparent, clear and gem Rhodochrosite crystals. They have an intense and incredibly rich red color. The crystals are perfect with sharp shape and edges. The faces have glassy luster. The quality is outstanding - superb color and clarity so the crystals just glow. Some small black Manganite crystals are seen too. The deposit has produced these treasures long time ago and pieces like this have always been scarce. The quality rivals the Sweet Home Mine Rhodochrosites.
