Gorgeous specimen of honey-orange colored Grossular Garnet crystals up to 11mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are transparent, gem quality with strong glassy luster. They have rich and saturated honey-orange color - pure orange water. The Grossular has rhombic dodecahedral habit with sharp crystallization and pretty edge modifications. It has nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
