Fascinating jewel of orange colored Grossular Garnets attractively growing on green Clinochlore from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. This is more uncommon combo from Jeffrey mine. The Grossular crystals are up to 4mm, transparent, water clear, gem quality with superb luster and pleasant color. They have perfect rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The Clinochlore crystals are well developed in rosette clusters with green color. For references see 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
