Top small specimen of outstanding Kulanite crystals and Quartz from Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposit of Yukon, Canada. Kulanite is very rare barium, iron, aluminum phosphate and this is the type locality. The Kulanite crystals are impressive for the species - up to 13mm. They have very dark (almost black) oil-green color and strong luster. They are well shaped and sharp. The tip of the main crystal is twinned. Small colorless Quartz crystals enrich the display. In very good condition – some small base contacts. On acrylic base.
