Splendid twinned crystals of Zunyite from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays two complete all over tetrahedral Zunyite crystals to 8mm growing one atop another in a sculptural manner. They show penetration twining. They are well shaped with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. Small sparkling black Hematite crystals are seen all over. It is complete all over 360 degree. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
