Superb specimen of Zunyite crystal from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays complete tetrahedral Zunyite crystal of 13mm on a small base. It is sharp with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled edges. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. Small sparkling black Hematite crystals are seen all over. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
