Gorgeous jewel of orange colored Grossular Garnets attractively growing with green Clinochlore on an elongated Diopside base from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. This is more uncommon combo from Jeffrey mine. The Grossular crystals are up to 3mm, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasant bright color. They have perfect rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. The Clinochlore crystals are well developed in rosette clusters with green color. The Diopsides crystals are well shaped with light apple-green color. The high quality of the minerals gives fascinating display on both sides. For references see 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
