Marvelous specimen of very unusually colored in olive-yellow-green Garnet var. Andradite var. Topazolite crystals up to 2mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. This specimen comes from a small new find and due to its color can be identified as variety Topazolite. The Andradite crystals are transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing color. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The Garnets are bright and very sparkling. The contrast is strong due to the white Diopside-Albite covered matrix. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. Some contacts.

Splendid!
