Gorgeous and rare colorless Grossular Garnet crystals associated with Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Garnet crystals are glassy, completely transparent, gem quality with superb luster and water clear up to 2mm. They have perfect and razor sharp rhombic decahedral crystal habit. The Grossular crystals have some small green Chromian phantoms. The Garnets are scattered on white Diopside needles growing in beautiful sprays.  Some areas of the sprays have light green hue. The amazing clarity and gemminess combined with the aesthetic display make it remarkable specimen from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In superb condition. On acrylic base.
