Fabulous big specimen of pink colored Grossular Garnet crystals up to 4mm attractively decorated with green Diopside on a white Albite base from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are transparent, gem quality with a superb luster and pleasing, tender pink color. Apple-green Diopsides are seen all over. The pink Grossulars contrast nicely on the white background. Very rare pink Garnets from this great closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts.
