Fascinating specimen of gem Chromian Vesuvianite crystals – the rarest and most desirable color from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are up to 6mm and they have rich dark grass-green color due to Chromium. They are gem with very lustrous faces. Rare green Vesuvianite from this great now closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
