Gorgeous specimen of high quality Dioptase crystals to 22mm from Pimbi hill, Mindouli, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. This specimen was mined more that 30 years ago by a geologist and stored. The Dioptases are strongly glassy lustrous with gorgeous dark emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly doubly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon-green nuances. The specimen has sculptural beautifully. In very good condition – some micro nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
