Unique style gem Garnet var. Grossular crystals with phantoms from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are gem and clear up to 6mm. They are colorless with opaque cores giving phantoms like appearance. The crystals have razor sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and glassy luster. The quality is superb. White Pectolite sprays of needle crystals and apple green Diopside add a nice accent. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some contacts and one partial crack but the specimen is stable. On acrylic base.

Exceptional!
