Beautiful specimen of gemmy Powellite crystals growing on elongated Chalcedony stalactites from Nashik District, India. Powellite is the rarest and most desirable mineral from the Deccan Traps of India.  It displays marvelous light amber colored up to 14mm Powellite crystals. They have razor sharp pyramidal shape with glassy luster and pretty striations. The crystals are transparent and gemmy. The Chalcedony stalactites are very sparkling and grow in a tridimensional structure. At the top are attractively nestled small rhombohedral Heulandite crystals. They are very sharp with strongly lustrous faces. Pinkish Stilbite crystals enrich the display. They are strongly lustrous, light reflective and sharp. Displays attractively all over 360 degree. In very good condition – one small nick on the Powellite tip and Chalcedony side contacts.

Powellite from India is considered as the best in the world and this is a mesmerizing specimen!
