Fascinating specimen of pink colored Grossular Garnet crystals up to 3mm attractively growing with green Diopside on Albite base from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are transparent, gem quality with strong luster and pleasant tender pink color. Small green Diopsides are seen around. The pink Grossulars are underlined nicely by the white-green background. Rare pink Garnets from this great closed now mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some minor nicks contacts. On acrylic base.
