First grade quality Cuprite crystal partially pseudomorphed by Copper from the famous Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe Cu-Zn-Pb deposit, Russia. It displays sharp Cuprite octahedron. Some areas of the Cuprite have been replaced and pseudomorphed by Copper. The Cuprite has very strong luster and light reflection. Complete all over. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. In excellent condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
