Colorful specimen of rare Cornetite from the type locality of L Etoile du Congo Mine, Katanga, Congo - Kinshasa. It is not often seen copper phosphate. It comes from the collection of Sandro Maggia, Italy with a label. The vibrant crystals of Cornetite are colored in rich electric royal blue. They are very well shaped, lustrous and sparkling. They grow in radial sprays. The white base gives strong contrast. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
