Superb connoisseur specimen from unique find in Tantara Mine, Congo Kinshasa of Shattuckite pseudomorph after Dioptase, after Calcite. The secondary Copper silicate Shattuckite replaces Dioptase crystals replacing the first generation of pointy Calcite crystals. The Shattuckite has intense and saturated dark blue color to royal blue areas. Some parts are Dioptase. Some contacts. On acrylic base.
