Attractive specimen of Melnikovite over Quartz base from Huaron mines, Huaron mining district, Peru. It comes from the collection of Bruno Cerato, Italy with a label. Melnikovite is a mixture of Marcasite and Pyrite. It has botryoidal habit with black color and metallic luster. The colorless Quartz base gives a strong contrast.
