Marvelous small crystal of gem Grossular Garnet var. Tsavorite from the famous Merelani Hills, Tanzania. The Tsavorite is very rare, green, chromium or vanadium variety of Grossular. The crystal is 7mm, very vitreous, clear, transparent and gem quality with strong luster, and pleasing green color. It has rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit with rhomboid shaped faces.
