Beautiful specimen of rare colorless Grossular Garnets crystal of 13mm sitting attractively on a Diopside base from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Garnet crystal is glassy, translucent to slightly gemmy, with strong luster. It has perfect and sharp rhombic decahedral crystal habit. The Garnet has inclusions of colorless Diopsides needles. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
