Marvelous gem green Diopside crystal from the famous Merelani Hills, Tanzania. The Diopside crystal is 7mm in length. It is sharp, very well shaped with rich and saturated green color. The quality is superb – very gem, clear and transparent. The luster is glassy. Complete all over 360 degree. For references see the 2009 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 40, # 5.
