Superb quality specimen of Hessonite Garnets from Pellice Valley, Torino Province, Italy. The Hessonite crystals are gemmy with rich and saturated dark red-brown color. The colorfulness of the specimen is marvelous. Very sharp crystallization with strong luster - nicely reflect the light. The Hessonite crystals are very well developed rhombic-dodecahedrons to 7mm. Some Clinochlore aggregates are seen too. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts at the outside edges. On acrylic base.
