Fine combo specimen of gem Garnet var. Spessartine crystals growing on a single black Tourmaline var. Schorl from Shigar Valley, Pakistan. The Spessartines have perfect trapezohedral shape, up to 10mm big and are well formed. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. The Schorl is well crystallized, with a strong luster and nice striations. Displays all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small nicks and natural imperfections. On acrylic base.
