Exceptional and sculptural offbeat specimen of Tourmaline var. Elbaite crystal decorated by doubly terminated Topaz and Albite from Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan. The stately Elbaite crystal of 32mm has marvelous color variation from very dark blue-black to rich sea blue color at the cap. The crystal is perfect and well flat terminated. The tip of the crystal is transparent and gem. The luster is very strong with superb surface striations. On the Tourmaline are nestled two gorgeous doubly terminated Topaz crystals. They are colorless, water clear, completely transparent and gem. The luster is very strong. In the Topaz crystals are seen inclusions of an unidentified brown mineral. White Albite rosettes sprinkled by the same unidentified brown mineral add nice contrast. The specimen has beautiful display. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
