Superb Cuprite crystal with sharp octahedral shape and bedazzling luster from the famous Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Russia. It has perfect geometry, metallic faces and super mirror luster. Complete all over floater. On a strong light the crystal displays some slight gemminess with gorgeous and rich wine-red color. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. In good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
