Beautiful specimen of orange-brown Scolecite with bursting Sun shape decorated by Chalcedony from this less known locality in India - Chandanapuri, Maharashtra. It displays sprays of needle Scolecite crystals. They are very delicate, with fresh and intense color. At the top botryoidal, colorless Chalcedony balls cover the tips of Scolecite needles making an exquisite diadem. The specimen has very original display all over. In good condition - some contacts and natural imperfections.
