Amazing specimen of unusual Baryte scepters formed over green Malachite coating from Shangulowe Mine, Katanga Copper Crescent, Congo - Kinshasa . The specimen was mined in the 1980s. It displays sharp tabular Baryte crystals to 23mm. They are covered at the lower part by green Malachite. The caps are formed by toothed saw like colorless Baryte in neat scepters. Excellent example for this uncommon material. In very good condition – some minor nicks and outside edge contacts.

Delightful!
