Striking richly honey-orange colored Grossular Garnet crystals to 2mm attractively grow on green Diopside base from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are transparent, gem quality with superb luster and very saturated dark orange color. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The specimen has nice contrast. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
