Gorgeous jewel of top quality and extremely sparkling Garnet var. Grossular var. Chromian from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are very gem up to 3mm big. They have super deep emerald-green color due to Chromium. The Grossular has trapezohedral sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. The crystals have pretty striations not often seen on green Grossular. Very hard to find one of these now – the mine is closed and this was found long time ago. Green colored Garnets are among the best Jeffrey mine Garnets. This is of truly superior quality – very fresh and sparkling. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some side contacts. On acrylic base.

Exceptional gem-green Garnets!
