Killer top quality Vesuvianite specimen with intergrown crystals sticking out all over from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly flat terminated crystals are gem, up to 15mm in length and some are doubly terminated. They have an amazing color variation from purple to very saturated and rich fuchsia-purple at the caps and apple-green centers. The luster is very strong and the crystals are transparent and glassy. That is the most intense color that the mine produced in just one single pocket.  The colorfulness of the specimen is outstanding. Crystallized on both sides. Almost complete floater. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some small side contacts.

The best Vesuvianite color in the world!
